Yesterday, I went to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks II: The Squeakquel" with Mommy and Daddy. This was the first movie I've ever seen in a theater!
We got there just as the previews were starting and the theater was pretty full of other kids with their parents.

What's been up
I'm having a tough time letting go of my bottle. I just LOVE a nice bottle of cold milk, especially in the morning.
I'm becoming quite the little comedienne these days also. I think I've figured out how to entertain my family and others pretty predictably.

The Amazing Spider-Man
My sister took me to see this last Saturday. I was scared of the Lizard but loves the movie all in all.

Tangled
Yesterday I went to see Tangled, the new Disney movie about Rapunzel. I've decided I want to get a Rapunzel dress. Maximus the heroic horse was one of my favorite characters along with Pascal, the chameleon.
The whole movie seemed like it was set up perfectly to turn into a broadway show.
I also noticed the Executive PRoducer was John Lassetter from Pixar. It seems like the partnership between Disney (old school hand drawn animation) and Pixar (new school computer CGI and 3D modeling) is paying off nicely.

1,201 Days Old
You are now 3 years and about 4 months old and as much fun and interesting as I can imagine. A bundle of non stop energy, you typically wake up around 7am and go hard all day until about 9pm. Amazingly, you rarely nap and actually refuse pointedly to do so. Luckily you don't get cranky, very often that is. When you do get cranky its because you're hungry but may not know it.
Your favorite toys right now are the Disney Princesses, especially Princess Ariel. You love to read books about Snow White, Cars, Shrek, and others. Last night you insisted on looking at your collection of princess books in bed while you fell asleep.
Your favorite dolls include Sherriff Woody from Toy Story (3) and Buzz Lightyear though you also have an Ariel doll (which changes color in the tub.) Your other stuffed friends include Snow White, Miga, and a host of babies.

Princess returns to the real world
Today is (was) the last day of a very exciting spring break. Tomorrow Caroline returns to school, ok, its just pre-school, but nonetheless she has to get back into her routine.
Today we went swimming at the Harris Y indoor pool (the outdoor pool is not yet open.) Then we got her haircut...not too short and didn't touch her bangs. Then we came home and played, made dinner, and wrestled her into bed.

Sweet dreams
The other day Caroline woke up and proceeded to tell us about the friends who were hiding under our pillows. There was Lightning McQueen, Sally Porsche, 'Mater, Doc, Luigi, and Guido. We were surprised to say the least.
I think I need to start lining up a Bandolero car for her!

Tiny hiney
Our friend Leigh is sitting Caroline for a couple of weeks during the day. the other day I got a txt telling me that "Tiny Hiney used the big potty for the 1st time." How exciting...and gross at the same time!
I'm mad
Last night as we were going out to dinner, the Peaseley's stopped by to chat for a few minutes. Caroline, of course, wanted to play with the girls.
I didn't really observe what was going on and Elizabeth strapped C into her car seat. When I got in the front seat and turned around to look at her she had an angry expression on her face.
When I asked her what was wrong she said "I'm mad." I asked her why she was mad and she said "Because Izzybee hurt me." "How did she hurt you?" I asked. "Because I wanted to play" was the response.
Every day she amazes me more and more with her comprehension and ability to express herself.

Potty of my very own
Well, the big day was yesterday. I finally got a potty of my very own (as one of the Baby Songs goes.)
It's a simple thing, plastic with a hinged lid. It even came with a "deflector shield" which I tried to put on...and later found out is just for the boys.
According to mom and dad, we're going to keep it out in the living room/playroom so I can get used to it. I don't really care about people watching me pee pee and poo poo. What's the big deal?

Counting
The other night I seemed to catch everyone off guard by counting to ten. Well, I almost did. I made it to five with no problem. then I alternated the rest up to 10. Last night I counted to 13 and Mom and Dad were again impressed. I mean, its not like I was doing geometry or something!

First PRogress Report
I got my 1st progress report from my pre-school this Monday. I think I did OK. I got mostly Exceeds and a few Meets Expectations. Dad says he won't make me go for tutoring, which is a relief!
I'm still putting a lot of new sentences together which is helping me get what I want. Some of my favorites are:
"I need help" I say this when I can't get up on something or out of my high chair, or when I get stuck climbing all over my table and chair set. The other day I was climbing onto my table and slipped back down between the backrest and seat of one of the chairs.
"Come on Da-Da, let's get ice cream." OK, I still have trouble with each word. Honestly, it sounds more like "cuh mon da-da, leh geh i keem" but everyone seems to get the point.
"Go away John"
"Hi Ezzy", "Hi Tobey" ("hi ed-die, hi toe-bee")
I'm also practicing my growl voice a lot. Everyone chuckles when I say "tob-bee" in a growl voice.
They also seem to get a big kick out of my different camera faces such as "happy face", "sad face", etc.
Today is a snow day so me, mom, and the big kids are at home. Even though only about an inch of snow fell, the roads are real slick with black ice. Dad is thrilled that we'll have a houseful of kids with wet feet tromping in and out all day.

The other day I suddenly blurted out "Ernie fell down" when my Ernie doll fell off the table.

The shape of things
Yesterday I figured out how to put my shaped blocks through matching cutouts. I have this set of pots and pans and the lid has the cutouts for the blocks. There are circular, triangular, and square blocks. I don't know why I didn't figure this out sooner!

Right now my favorite book is called "Color Carnival" and it features Elmo and his friends. I can identify each friend by name including Zoey, Abby Kadabby, Rosita and Telly. The book also has Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and Ernie. I can also name most of the colors of each friend. For example, I know Elmo is red, Zoey is orange, and Grover is blue.
